The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs, through the Curriculum and Assessment Committee, have published a new textbook for Islamic Education for Year Two.

Designed with a more comprehensive learning approach, not only knowledge in the field of religious, but also drives more active, creative and innovative thinking based on Islamic teachings.

Introduced this year, this new textbook features components of Religious Practice, Morality and Jawi Learning combined into one manuscript.

The implementation of this new curriculum covers all government and private primary schools, including international schools. With the publication of this new textbook, it is hoped to further strengthen the foundations of Islamic religious education among students.
